Vector Gunner — Shooting Game

HOW TO PLAY

  1. Press START or hit Space to power up the neon turret.
  2. Move your pointer (or drag on touch) to aim the turret.
  3. The turret auto-fires bullets toward your aim every fraction of a second.
  4. Destroy the incoming shards before they reach the bottom edge.
  5. Each shard that slips through costs a life — lose all 3 and it's game over.

TIPS & STRATEGY

  • Don't keep the turret parked in the middle. Auto-fire is fast, but the real skill is pre-aiming toward the lane where the next shard will matter before it reaches the bottom third.
  • Wide sweeps are expensive because bullets travel on the exact line of your current aim. Short, deliberate corrections clear more shards than frantic zigzags.
  • Losing one life is often the signal to simplify your aim and recover control instead of chasing every shard. A stable center-left or center-right angle usually buys time to rebuild.
  • Higher is better: every destroyed shard adds 1 point, while the spawn interval and fall speed both ramp with your score, so late survival depends on tracking the fastest lane first.

ABOUT

Vector Gunner is a single-screen wave shooter. A neon turret holds the bottom of the grid while glowing shards rain down from above. Aim, auto-fire, and survive as the waves speed up.

FAQ

How do you play Vector Gunner?
Start the run, move your pointer or finger to aim the turret, and let it auto-fire toward that line. Your job is to keep destroying falling shards before they reach the bottom edge.
What makes Vector Gunner hard?
Vector Gunner gets harder because both the shard spawn rate and the falling speed increase as your score climbs. Since the turret is fixed in place, the pressure comes from aim prioritization rather than movement or power-ups.
How is the score calculated?
Every shard you destroy is worth 1 point, so your final score is simply the total number of kills before your 3 lives run out. Higher scores rank higher on the leaderboard.
Can you move the turret in Vector Gunner?
No. In Vector Gunner the turret stays anchored at the bottom center of the screen, and you only control its aim. That fixed position is what makes the game about tracking lanes and choosing targets quickly.
Is Vector Gunner free to play?
Yes. Vector Gunner is free to play in your browser with no install and no signup, and your best score is saved on your device.
