Tap the glowing buds in one continuous numbered route. A wrong bud or repeated bud snaps the stem and restarts the current bloom.

Trace Bloom — One Line Drawing Game

HOW TO PLAY

  1. Press Start Tracing to begin a 90-second drawing run.
  2. Tap bud 1, then continue through the next numbered buds without repeating or skipping.
  3. The line stays on the board as a glowing stem; a wrong bud snaps the current stem and restarts that pattern.
  4. Complete every bud in the pattern to bloom the flower circuit and load the next one.

TIPS & STRATEGY

  • Read the whole flower before tapping. The next bud is highlighted, but seeing the full route prevents a rushed wrong turn.
  • Keep a steady rhythm. Fast taps help only if you already know the sequence; one wrong bud resets the current bloom.
  • Use the thorn nodes as negative space. They mark areas where the stem should bend around the center rather than cut straight through.
  • After a bloom opens, reset your eyes to bud 1 immediately. The next pattern appears fast, and the first tap sets the whole line.

ABOUT

Trace Bloom is a one line drawing game tuned for quick browser play. The board shows abstract neon buds and thorn nodes, and your job is to trace one continuous stem through the buds in order. The input feels like drawing, but the challenge is keeping the path deliberate and unbroken. Each completed pattern blooms instantly, and the leaderboard counts how many flower circuits you finish before the timer ends.

FAQ

How do you play Trace Bloom?
Start at bud 1 and tap each next bud in order to draw one continuous neon stem. If you tap the wrong bud or repeat a bud, the current bloom resets.
Is Trace Bloom a one line drawing game?
Yes. Trace Bloom is a one line drawing game where the route is built from bud to bud, making the drawing clear on mobile while still rewarding route planning and rhythm.
How is the score calculated?
Each fully traced flower circuit is worth one bloom. Your final score is the number of blooms completed before the 90-second timer ends.
Do the thorn nodes hurt the line?
The first version uses thorns as route-reading landmarks rather than freehand collision traps. They show where the safe stem should bend and make each pattern easier to understand at a glance.
Is Trace Bloom free to play?
Yes. Trace Bloom is free in your browser with no install and no signup, and your best one-line drawing score is saved locally on your device.
