Keystream Relay — Typing Game

HOW TO PLAY

  1. Press Start Relay, and the first code packet lights up with the next few queued behind it.
  2. Type the glowing packet exactly as shown — every packet is short lowercase text, so no shift or punctuation is needed.
  3. Finish a packet and it sends instantly; the next one loads with no pause, building your combo for each clean clear in a row.
  4. A wrong key is rejected and breaks your combo, so accuracy keeps the stream flowing. Relay as many packets as you can before the 60-second timer ends.

TIPS & STRATEGY

  • Accuracy beats raw speed here. A mistyped key is simply rejected, so hammering keys faster than you can read just stalls the current packet — settle into a clean rhythm instead.
  • Glance at the Incoming queue between packets. Pre-reading the next one or two tokens lets your fingers move the instant the current packet sends.
  • Keep the combo alive. Every clean clear without a wrong key raises your combo, and stringing long combos together is how top runs pull ahead on the leaderboard.
  • All packets are lowercase with no spaces, so rest your hands on the home row and avoid reaching for shift, space, or punctuation — those keystrokes only break your streak.

ABOUT

Keystream Relay is a fast browser typing game — a bite-sized speed typing test dressed as a neon data stream. Instead of long paragraphs you clear a continuous queue of short code-style packets, which keeps each turn quick and rewards both speed and accuracy. Your score is the number of packets you relay in 60 seconds, roughly tracking your words-per-minute, and your best run is saved on your device with a place on the global TOP 20 leaderboard.

FAQ

How do you play Keystream Relay?
Type the highlighted code packet exactly as it appears, then the next one loads automatically. Each packet you complete counts as one cleared, and you keep relaying packets until the 60-second timer runs out.
Is Keystream Relay a typing test?
Yes — it's a quick typing game that works like a bite-sized speed typing test. Because the score is how many short packets you clear in 60 seconds, it closely tracks your typing speed and accuracy, much like a words-per-minute test.
What happens if I type a wrong key?
A wrong key is rejected rather than entered, so the packet never fills with bad characters, but it resets your combo back to zero. The current packet stays on screen until you type it correctly.
How is my score calculated?
Your score is the number of code packets you relay before the timer ends. Higher is better, so the leaderboard ranks the runs that cleared the most packets, and your best combo is tracked separately for bragging rights.
Is Keystream Relay free to play?
Yes. Keystream Relay is free in your browser with no install and no signup, and your best score is saved locally on your device.
