HOW TO PLAY

  1. Press Start Shift to open the first six-slot rota.
  2. Tap an open shift, then assign one of the four neon crews with the buttons below or keys 1–4.
  3. Match the exact crew counts and every visible rule card: adjacent repeats are always illegal, and some stages add pair, order, or ban rules.
  4. When all open shifts are filled, press Lock Rota. A valid schedule scores immediately and the next rota loads until time runs out.

TIPS & STRATEGY

  • Start with the locked shifts and the same/different pair rules. They collapse the search space fast and tell you which colors can still fit the edge slots.
  • Crew counts are exact, not minimums. If Pink needs two shifts and you've already used two, any later Pink assignment is guaranteed to break the rota even if the local rule looks fine.
  • The no-adjacent rule applies to every crew on every stage, so scan the timeline left to right for accidental doubles before pressing Lock Rota.
  • Use Clear Slot instead of wiping the whole board when only one rule is off. Beacon Rota rewards fast corrections more than full restarts because the timer never pauses between schedules.
